O-ring is the most common sealant used in a variety of machines and industrial parts. O-rings are usually used in the form of fixed or moving seals, and the construction of these seals is usually in the form of open or closed circuit. The material used to make and produce o-rings is usually rubber, which changes depending on your environmental and work conditions. The rubbers used in the o-rings are such that the o-ring has the highest tensile and molecular density and tear resistance. Silicone O-ring: This O-ring is produced for use in hygienic environmental conditions and is able to withstand temperatures of 350 degrees Celsius.
Anti-acid O-ring (EPDM): This o-ring is used in environments where acid or other corrosive substances are present and is also able to withstand temperatures of 200 degrees Celsius.
Anti-oil O-ring (NBR): This o-ring is produced for use in environments containing hot oil and is able to withstand temperatures up to 250 degrees Celsius.
Whiting O-ring: This o-ring is produced for use in high temperatures and the heat tolerance range of 450 degrees Celsius has been measured for this product.
